How Ledgr handles your data.

Ledgr reads transaction alerts from Standard Chartered and Eastern Bank. That's how it tracks spending without manual entry. It doesn't read personal messages, group chats, or OTPs.

Your transaction history, categories, and merchant mappings are stored on your device. The core app works entirely offline. Nothing is uploaded by default.

If you choose to enable AI insights (forecasts, spending personality, savings radar), Ledgr sends aggregated spending data to generate the analysis. Raw SMS content is never transmitted. You can use the full app without enabling this.
